O design da série S torna este motorredutor particularmente eficaz para aplicações de bombas, ventoinhas e ventiladores. Para atender às necessidades dos clientes destes setores, a série S também está disponível nas versões de pé ou flange e pode ser completada com uma vasta gama de motores elétricos inteiramente fabricados pela Bonfiglioli. Podem ser acoplados à série S motores assíncronos IEC e compactos (BN-BE-BX/M-ME-MX) e motores de relutância (BSR).
