Die Baureihe A verbindet hohe Leistung mit Zuverlässigkeit, niedrigen Wartungskosten und einem breiten Drehmomentbereich. Ihre außergewöhnliche Kompaktheit verdankt die Baureihe A der rechtwinkeligen Anordnung von AN- und ABTRIEB. Die spezielle Zahnradsatzkombination macht dieses rechtwinkelige Modell zum effizientesten und langlebigsten Produkt des Leicht- und Mittellastspektrums von Bonfiglioli. Die Baureihe A kann durch zahlreiche, von Bonfiglioli hergestellte Elektromotoren ergänzt werden.
